Cranberry Aviation formed in 2021 to fill aviation education and training needs in the North Pittsburgh area. Cranberry Aviation assists aspiring pilots in identifying their best path for aviation training and education. Once that path becomes clear, Cranberry Aviation will assist those same pilots in attaining their aviation goal.
About the founder:
The Riedel family had a previous military assignment at the U.S. Army War College in Carlisle, PA and this is where they discovered all that Pennsylvania had to offer. Kyle Riedel and his family moved to the Pittsburgh area in 2019 following over 30 years of military service in the U.S. Army.
Kyle’s aviation credentials include:
- Bachelor of Science in Aeronautical Studies from the University of North Dakota (Part 141)
- Master of Science in Aviation Management/Operations from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (Part 141)
- Master of Science in Operational Art from the Air Command and Staff College
